"My stay at Sonesta was a bit of a mixed experience. There were several maintenance issues in the room that really shouldn’t have been overlooked. The shower head needed fixing, the AC seemed stuck at 18 degrees the entire time, and the Body Soap, Shampoo and conditioner dispensers were broken, which was inconvenient.
The pool area was also disappointing. There’s only one pool, and it was consistently very crowded, making it hard to actually enjoy.
That said, the staff were genuinely nice and...

"Food was great! A majority of the staff was great! Tried the rooms with Bali beds out front and that was a waste of money. No view and filled with ants. Get a higher room with an ocean view.
The beach was useless as it is steep and ground seashells for sand. That said, you cannot beat the view of Simpson Bay.
Great island and will be back when they rebuild. I would just stay at a sister property near the airport next time."

"My stay was frustrating due to the inconsistency in service. It seemed like certain guests were prioritized over others, and we did not receive the same level of care or attentiveness. I also wish there were more inclusive breakfast options, as there were no non-pork meat choices available. I hope the hotel can improve both its service standards and menu variety to better accommodate all guests"
