"Fire all my stuff still in there and no one answering about it"

"The room I was given was a CLOSET 332 with a queen bed in it. It never should of had a queen bed - a single at max. BUT the worst part was the TOXIC smell from the bathroom from the GLUE they must have used to put up panels in the bathroom. It was so toxic I could not sleep nor stay in the room. THEY DID NOTHING. Now, I totally understand that an Edwardian era hotel will have smaller rooms BUT don't try and stuff a queen bed in it so you can get dbl occupancy. BUT the TOXIC FUMES were the worst....

"Clean and tidy hotel and the lady behind the bar on the Saturday night was great. Breakfast was really nice and the room was ok. Shower could do with an upgrade to maybe a lager shower head but it was fine. As its city centre it was quite noisy at the front especially as the hotel is surrounded by noisy bars that are open till late. Lucky for us we were in one of the bars until 1:30 so not to bad but this could be an issue for others."

"Excellent helpful staff. The overall feel of the hotel, very tired and in desperate need of an update. Took us back to the 80s/90s with the decor. Worn carpets, knocked about furniture and bathroom fittings, and faded decor, in the part we stayed in"

"Hotel located right on the sea board in folkstone right near white cliffs of Dover and Dover castle. It has old charm feel to it. Staff were friendly throughout stay. Room was spacious with amenities. Room clean and bathroom spacious. Parking onsite and right nearby as well. Dining area on site. Loved the look and feel of the hotel. Would recommend!"

"Amazing location, would love to have visited in the summer with the proximity to the beach and nice walkways . Staff were very warm and friendly, everything was as described, check in was a breeze. The room was clean and seemed like it was very recently updated. The bathroom was nice, with a rain shower head. Parking is somewhat finicky, you need to hope you get a spot out front (paid parking 7 days a week from 8am-6pm) or park in a nearby underground garage. Due to an early start on check...

"Bedding, towels, bathrooms were all clean but the lodge itself needed a bit of TLC in places. Broome Park is a beautiful setting and the golf is amazing. Loved exploring the nearby areas. Overall a great holiday and at a good price via Expedia 👍"

"Perfect spot on the sea front. Close to everything. We had dogs, room perfect and staff very friendly. Can walk to shops nearby lots of bars and restaurants. Beautiful walk along the seafront."

"What a wonderful hotel,lovely setting,all of the staff were excellent ,professional,friendly and the hotel had a lovely homely feel,would recommend to anyone . The only thing l can say being slightly negative is that the spa in the pool area felt very dated ,and the decor in places throughout the hotel could do with revamping!! Wonderful stay 😊"

"Very old and musty hotel, good luck with the shower barely any shower pressure. Very duty and lingering smell in the bedroom. Additionally their 1980s lift makes an incredible about of noise. Bed is very uncomfortable too."
