"On entering the hotel you will be met by warm and inviting staff. off to the left of the reception is an insanely stocked whisky lounge but prices are on the steep side for you average dram. There is a 24 bar located en route to the rooms and an Aperol was £18!!! scandalous. "My second visit to Peebles Hydro. Lovely grounds surrounding Hydro. It is comfortable and clean. Staff all pleasant and helpful. Good breakfast, but make sure you go early as things were running out. Altogether a lovely stay. Will be back. Thanks."

"The outside of the building could do with some updating but inside was fine apart from the dirty and cracked window. Plenty of kitchen equipment and comfortable seats and bed. Shower room was lovely and towels provided. Nice garden to sit out and have a drink. Overall a nice stay."

"Hotel is very pet-friendly and hence the reason for our visit. We stayed in a 1 bedroom cottage which was ideal for us and our dog. The only criticism is the food at Spike's Bar (at the golf club) was a little bit disappointing."

"Having parking was a huge benefit, the high street does get busy so knowing it wasn't going to be an issue is great. The breakfast was lovely, nice amount of choice and the full cooked breakfast was huge! We didn't get a chance to have a coffee in the cafe but the homemade cakes and biscuits looked delicious. Check in and check out was smooth and quick. We were in room 86 and the windowsill needs a bit of maintenance and the room could do with a freshen up but the room was clean and the bed...
