"Very well located on the shores of the Nicaragua lake, the place immerses you in nature, with the incessant sound of the waves as a relaxing background. The rooms are rustic, but nice, and have all the required amenities. The bed is very comfortable, and the A/C is more than welcome. The restaurant offers a good choice of dishes, and the prices are reasonable. The staff is very friendly."

"The worst place ever you should be shut down. Dirty mold in the pool 6$ for ice 30$ if you bring food in the room disgusting bathroom.when was the last time you cleaned the bathrooms in the rooms."

"We had a wonderful stay at Aqua Resort. The view is absolutely beautiful, our room was very clean, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming as well. The food was delicious, and we really enjoyed our time there. The only downside was that when we returned to our villa at night, there were no lights outside the room, and the pool lights were also off. It made it difficult to walk around safely after dark. Other than that, we had a great experience and would recommend this resort."

While the property has a beautiful ocean view and the potential to be a great family destination, the cleanliness and pest issues made our stay very uncomfortable. There were lizards throughout the inside of the bedrooms and cockroaches inside the villa. This made it difficult to relax, especially while traveling with family. "This is a pretty expensive hotel for the location. The reception was closed and I had to call for help at the pool VHF-radio... Very few people speaks English. I stayed in a suite, which has a nice bed, almost the only good thing about the place. On day 2 afternoon I wanted to take a shower, but as on day 1 no hot water and after a few attempts no water at all, not even cold. No reception. The pool area is okay, but no people. no breakfast, fancy full service menu in a small booklet, but no...

"The rooms were clean and adequate for three adults. The staff was welcoming and very helpful; organized a taxi to take my 83 year old mother to a coffee shop downtown. It is in a quiet location and a good area to unplug from electronic devices. If you have mobility issues, you won’t have much to do but sit and look out at the beach from the patio. The swimming pool has a ladder to climb in and out, so we were not able to use the pool at all. We would stay here again if our plan is to relax."
