"Fantastic boutique hotel that feels like a quaint historical "all inclusive". The 2 restaurants and pub feature delicious and unique creations served by the friendliest servers I have encountered! Location in downtown Nelson is perfect for exploring on foot. Rooms have been modernized but feel cozy. There is a bar fridge but no microwave oven. One cup coffee maker included. Feels like a home away from home. Love it all!"

"Our stay at the Alpine Inn was top notch! The staff were courteous and welcoming, our rooms were kept clean daily and topped up with coffee or towels if needed. The kitchenette was excellent and the barbecue was very handy. Our larger group easily met outside our room. Lots of parking even with our trailer. We did drive to the many restaurants but a couple of our group did walk down. We’d definitely stay again."

"The staff was wonderful. We got to town earlier than expected but we were able to get into our room. The room is very nice, large and comfortable. Don't bother buying the breakfast, go somewhere else. It's not worth the $8+ you pay for it. "

"The overall place was good. The bar attached to the hotel again was good though service was slow. The only disappointment was I tried to go to sleep and there was a live band downstairs and unfortunately there seems to be little to no insulation as it kept me up til the bar closed. I now see why they provided earplugs. I personally won’t be returning."

"The central location, great windows in a junior suite and although we did not use it, the kitchen was great. Bathroom was clean, roomy and modern. Really liked the techs lighting and controls. Right in the midst of downtown, highly recommended."

"The First staff were helpful - the remainder differential - no hello or goodbye, any acknowledgement. The room was clean , dated. The set up of the King suite was weird and the breakfast meal included had me lowering my review. By weird I mean, the window drapes covered (hung lower/over the air conditioning unit. When the unit was on (it was fairly warm so it needed to be - the drapes needed to be left open - even all night. If they were closed, they blew all over the place or all the cold air...

"Staff were pleasant and accommodating. Our room was clean and tidy and bed was comfortable. Pillows could use upgrading but that can be an issue in many properties. Always best to travel with your own pillow especially when road- tripping :) Keureg type coffee maker in room. A great price for a place to sleep and shower. "
