"From outside its a very old building but inside its fully renovated. Are room was just a double bed and over looking the front of the hotel. It was very clean and the staff was amazing. The only downside was the room had no fridge. They have a charred kitchen area and some fridges ice machine and coffee maker and lots of sitting area but we don’t feel comfortable leaving are beer in a public fridge and are food for anyone to take. "We were in Nelson for a medical appointment and forgot all of our paperwork! The front desk happily printed quite a large package and when I tried to pay, they refused my money! They were all nice, the room was comfortable and clean. I would stay here again!"

"Be aware! We were charged for 2 nights we didn't stay at the place (had to cancell booking due to the family emergency) The temperature in the room +30 degrees, no AC, no fridge either, Tiny room (servants room), shoes have to be taken off at the front desk! Just lovely!"

"Rooms have been partially updates, were clean and comfortable and quiet. We stayed in the second floor. No elevator so keep that in mind. A second toaster would be great for the breakfast as toasting held up the line and never any knives stocked when we were there. Overall a fine stay for a a few nights with my family"
