"So disappointing. Did not want to write this review as I never do on this site, but the hotel receptionist ensured me that someone would reach out after we checked out. After many attempts to talk with that receptionist and get a response from management, we never contacted for an apology. "Great place for couples, 3 doors away from the Avon Theatre. The rooms were modernized, clean and comfortable. The only issue is parking, but there is a public lot about 1/2 a block away, and the "parking police" tend to be lenient."

"The power went off from 12am-5am. They told my husband over the phone when he called to confirm our reservation on a Friday. I usually bring my CPAP machine when I travel and I didn’t because of the power outage being scheduled. And I therefore had a bad nights sleep along with my husband. We went to the theatre and got back to the inn after 11:00. We weren’t ready to go to bed at 12:00 when it went off. This motel is an excellent choice in the quaint town of Palmerston in the heart of farm/mennonite Ontario. Close to restaurants and relatively close to other tourist towns of interest including Arthur and St. Jacobs. We recommend"

"For a one night stay in Stratford. It was exactly what was advertised."

"Breakfast was a huge upcharge per day per person, so we didn’t get that. They also charged us an extra $29.95 per day—4 days because we used the pullout couch, and there was a sheet and blanket for it, but the same ones were used all four days. The woman made a huge deal about having to wash them, but she only needed to do that once."

"Sue and Al are the most wonderful hosts at Cottage on Caledonia and it's a perfect place to stay for a visit to Stratford. The bed is so comfortable, the homemade & quality breakfast is so appreciated, and the space is charming and welcoming.
