This motel is an excellent choice in the quaint town of Palmerston in the heart of farm/mennonite Ontario. Close to restaurants and relatively close to other tourist towns of interest including Arthur and St. Jacobs. We recommend"

"This is a small private motel located Lin the countryside approximately 2 miles away from downtown Stratford. It is extremely quiet with a secluded pool that is warm and inviting with a comfortable water temperature. The rooms are reasonably large with all modern amenities, including large, flat screen TVs, refrigerators and Kurtis coffee machines. Though the building dates from an earlier time it has been meticulously maintained and the staff is dedicated to the comfort, quiet and privacy...

"Staff was friendly during check-in and check-out, very quick, too. The room was large and clean. Beds were queen sized. There was a microwave and a refrigerator. Air conditioning worked well. Bathroom was updated. Shampoo and soap, and hair dryer were provided. Location was excellent, on the road out of town, and 5 minutes from downtown. The one improvement I would like to see is a coffee maker in the room."

"We were in Stratford to see a show. We arrived early and were allowed to park prior to checking in. After our show we met Bruce, the owner and he kindly showed us our room and explained some of the amenities the inn had to offer. The room, despite being on the smaller size, was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bed was quite comfortable as were the two chairs. The shower had decent water pressure. "The location is great, just a couple of blocks from the Avon Theatre. The room was small but big enough to move around in and comfortable. The bathroom was also small but a comfortable size. The bed was good. The staff were nice. The air conditioning worked well. I had to jiggle the handle of the toilet to stop it from running and make it refill. "The building has a kind of shabby charm that worked for us. It was clean enough. The location is excellent if you want to be about a 20-30 min walk to the theatres."
