"We had a wonderful stay and saw the northern lights right out our back door. Spotless warm and comfortable. Winter can play havoc with the roads so beware. There is no tv or microwave- did not bother us as the WiFi was great with our phones"

"This was one of the most anticipated stops along our road trip. We were only able to stay one night due to availability but we would have loved to stay longer. The place was very quiet, peaceful and romantic. The space was mindfully designed and very visually appealing. I can tell the owner out a lot of thought into the interior design. The heated floors + heated towel rack made the place even more cozy. We enjoyed the stars in the jacuzzi but unfortunately didn’t see the northern lights...

"We thought it was special that our room was attached to the local museum. While there isn’t a lot to do in the area, it’s very nice to walk around outside exploring after fixing our meal in the the lovely apartment. "

"Clean modern cabin in an isolated setting yet close enough to Husavik and Myvatn lake. I have an interest in farming and tending animals in the unique setting of iceland. The owners went out of their way to answer all my questions about their sheep farm, the cost of energy, and more. Very welcoming and friendly people. "

"Allt í allt fín dvöl, vantaði aðeins upp á smáatriði (1 vínglas, 3 skálar osfrv) og hefði viljað fá handklæði og tuskur miðað við lengd dvalar. Rúm frekar hart og mikill hávaði í loftræstikerfi. Geggjað næs potta aðstaða og íbúð almennnt rúmgóð. Vinalegt starfsfólk. Myndi alveg koma aftur þrátt fyrir smávægilega hnökra. "
