"The site is undergoing major upgrades and is about to close for a couple of months to allow this to happen. So allowing for that, we had a brilliant time. Understandably some things were not available or restricted, due to the works, but what we had we enjoyed. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, the food and drink was wonderful and the staff were out of this world. They all made our stay. Friendly, helpful, accommodating and entertaining. "A charming little serviced cottage in a gated alley in Maldon. It was imaginatively laid out and very attractive. Some of the facilities were looking a little tired (e.g. sofa bed) and with a few little niggles (leaky shower, hot water not working in the bathroom) but overall very good."
