"The staff was friendly, helpful and overall excellent. Unfortunately, the elevator was not working and it was not repaired throughout our stay of 6 nights! We were on the fifth floor, so we had to make the tedious climb up and down to our room. The hotel did not even offer to compensate us for this inconvenience. It was only after we asked for a complimentary something that they offered one day free breakfast. The water pressure of the toilet in the room was very low, so flushing did not work...

Wir hatten ein Problem im Bad und es kam innerhalb von 10 min jemand und hat es behoben - abends um 21 Uhr. Neben dem Frühstück kann man auch abends an der Hotelbar Essen bestellen. Das Familienzimmer war zweckmäßig, allerdings zu klein, um den Koffer geöffnet zu lassen und es gab keinerlei Möglichkeit, den Koffer...

"I am a bit disappointed to be honest. I’ve stayed here before and used to live on this road and know how noisy it can be, so I messaged ahead and asked for a room on a higher floor. I got given a room above the night exit and bins on the first floor. Cue 11pm and 2am wake up calls from staff putting out the bins and dragging furniture around every single night. I slept so badly the whole time I was there. The pub has gone through a bit of a refurb which is nice, but it does feel like it’s lost...

"Great room, only issue we had was a strong smell of sewage coming directly from the toilet itself (this will require looking into; room 204) which kicked in later into the night; we didn’t realise the bathroom door was open and so the smell came into the room which was quite unpleasant. Closing the toilet lid and door did help somewhat, but it was unpleasant when using the bathroom. But otherwise the room itself was incredibly clean and great decor. Shame about the lack of dining options on...

"We stayed for one night and were impressed by how well kept the hotel is following its refurbishment a few years ago. Our room was clean, nicely furnished, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed some time in the bar and had dinner in the restaurant, where the menu offered plenty of choice and the food was very good. Breakfast was equally enjoyable, with options to suit all tastes.
