"Everything was perfect"

"Overall, the stay was very nice for our 2 day getaway. The room was clean and spacious, and the pool was very nice and well maintained, and the staff was helpful. The breakfast was OK, with warm croissants/muffins, but the coffee machine idea needs to be reevaluated. It was acting up on the first day, and the wait for each single cup coffee was too much in the morning rush. A morning full pot (or pots) of coffee should be put out for the breakfast rush. And it would be nice to have decaf as...

"There were few staff helping at breakfast. Only on man, who did a great job, was available. He waited, bartendered, bussed, and cleaned with no other help. There was no bureau in the room. No card indicating hotel services like most hotels do. The guest was expected to scan a bar code to find information about services and even phone numbers to call. In general, for a fairly high priced hotel, James Newbury offered few amenities. There should be complimentary breakfast. Even a cup of coffee in...

"It is so clear to me that the staff here has a strong team culture and loves what they do, every single person was kind, helpful, enthusiastic and wanted to ensure we had a wonderful time. The entire vibe of the hotel was perfect in balance; easy activity to entertain younger ones but a very chill vibe for adults. Cannot wait to come back!"

"The property was lovely, and although our room was quite small, it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff we encountered were friendly, pleasant, and helpful. My only complaint was that no Wi-Fi information was provided at check-in or anywhere in the room, which for the nightly price of the room seemed like a ridiculous oversight."

"Extremely old motel but the managers were so kind, beds were comfortable, epic area to hike, bike, or enjoy the outdoors and a yummy brewery next door!"

"This place is definitely dated but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. Chose to stay here when riding into tue area on the bike becasue of it had a detached restaurant/bar which makes dinner easier. Food was ok and bar was cool."

"plain and simple. nice. comfortable bed, private bathroom, it's August there's A/C never needed to turn on. an open screened window afforded a cool mountain welcome breeze. Cable TV as well also never powered up. Live action right outside. especially welcome was the quiet evening enabling sound sleep. no airplanes, no ambulance sirens. the morning gathering for breakfast was friendly and the food offered was welcome and satisfying. highly recommend this gem"
