This is an adorable hotel very close to the Mountain. You can’t beat the location. I would go back. Things we loved, the fireplace & smores, and that they had EV charging because there is none close to the hotel. It reminds of an ACE hotel thoughtful furnishings and minimalist decor. I would add lights to the walkway to the EV’s it was way too dark and a full length mirror to the rooms and a shelf in the bathroom and hooks. Minimal is my style but functionality always comes first. 🙏thank you for our stay.
The Eastwinds in Wndham is a camping property with beautiful cabins that are very comfortable for campers and glampers! The staff is so accommodating and friendly. The property is magnificent. This was our second time here and cannot say enough great things about the Eastwinds, Staff, and the area of Windham. Very friendly town for a getaway or vacation.
I really have no other words than this is the best hotel I have ever stayed at period! The comfort and friendliness from the staff was absolutely first class! The dinner served in house was absolutely amazing! East Wind will be my only Windham NY hotel to stay at ever again! The manager and staff make you feel so welcomed, the gifts they gave at check in were so nice n thoughtful!
Awesome hotel in the Catskills!!! Beautiful surroundings, convenient to the town of Windham, ski resorts, and hiking. Hotel room was so nicely decorated and spacious! Bed was super comfortable! Room was impeccably clean!!! Staff was so warm, welcoming, and friendly! The amenities are great—fire pits, barrel saunas in the woods, a bar in the hotel. Highly recommend!
A magical winter retreat in the Catskills! Jamie and the staff at Eastwind Windham created an unforgettable experience with their warm hospitality. The beautifully curated interiors, crackling fireplace, and stunning mountain views set the perfect backdrop for watching falling snow. From mulled wine to thoughtful communal dining (with great attention to food sensitivities), every detail was perfect. Don't miss the quirky barrel sauna! An ideal blend of luxury and mountain charm that made for a perfect getaway."
Great spot with friendly staff. Good amenities. Robes for barrel sauna, rain coats and boots for rainy or muddy hikes, blankets, cozy fireplace, comfortable beds. 2 saunas on site, fire pits, hammocks, bocci courts.
There was no room turnover, which I don't mind at all, just wish I had been made aware of it beforehand.
This is my favorite place to stay in the Catskills. It's pretty much perfect for couples that want to leave the kids at home and relax and socialize in the company of other adults -- weekend meals are buffet or family-style, tables are communal, and the staff is awesome. Very lively. If you want one of the A-frame cabins, make sure you book well in advance because they sell out for a reason!
The check in process was easy. The staff was very nice, for check in they texted me a great list of restaurants, things to do, hikes, all kinds of things. There was a bar and lounge that was modern and relaxing. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The property had fire pits, table games, and saunas for use. I would definitely recommend this stay.
This was a surprising find for us. We stayed in the main building and loved it.
Jamie who checked us into our room was extremely helpful with suggestions. He doubles as the bar tender at night and we had a blast singing and sharing stories with him. Highly recommended this property. If you are lucky enough to interact with Jamie take it all in.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Overall the property is very conveniently located. The staff was nice and the property was decorated well however, the walls are paper thin. One can hear everything that is happening in the hotel as well as in the adjacent rooms. Additionally, there is NO housekeeping at the end of our trip our floors were so dirty because of the snow and salt. I feel that the staff should have been more aware for this as the hotel is located on a mountain with skiing being the primary attraction.
We only stayed one night in the hotel but the room was clean, bed comfortable and the staff willing to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Unfortunately, it rained that evening so we weren’t able to enjoy the fire pit but we enjoyed some delicious specialty cocktails at the bar instead followed by the dessert from that nights menu. My only complaint is that the air conditioner blew right in our faces while sleeping & we ended up just turning it off. Otherwise, it was very nice and I would stay there again!
Remarkably comfortable clean AND warm (sooo cold outside). Fun and warm poncho robes. Nice little seating area by the window. Very happy to have stayed here.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
This is an awesome hotel, especially if you can properly dedicate some time to leveraging its amenities. It's also super unique. Whenever i come here, I always wish I could stay longer, even if, provided you're staying at a kushna, you'll have to acclimate a bit to dashing in the cold between your room and the shower.
