"We stayed at Mare Hotel in Cyprus for one week, choosing it for its beachfront location and advertised five-star rating. The property is beautiful, but the experience fell short. We arrived late due to our flight and found no food available after 11pm. Staff told us to order through an app and collect it at the gatehouse. For a five-star hotel, we expected late-night room service, even with a limited menu. Our room opened onto a lovely semi-private pool, but it was unheated and too cold to...

"A really good boutique hotel, not big not small. Staff are very nice. Food is very good including the all inclusive option. Good facilities including a small but nice gym."

"Excellent hotel and staff! Good food especially the special restaurant on rooftop, nice beach and pools, best for small children ,It was perfevt vacation!"

"Very nice property, direct access to fig tree bay beach. The breakfast had reasonable variety and options with very nice staff esp Karthik and Gyanoba who were very pleasant and attentive"

"Keep up the good work"

"This is the hotel that the Tsokkos Hotel Chain has forgotten about..... This is our 3 year visiting Protaras and the hotel has a lot to improve on - it's old, tired and in desperate need of a makeover - which is a real shame as the location in terms of the beach and the strip is excellent and to be honest probably the only positive I can come up with. Room - decent bed, shower is good. Cleaning non existent, often had to ask for fresh towels, and it's almost as if one person does one thing,...

"Air-conditioned and had everything we needed. All-inclusive was a bonus. I thought it was room-only, so that was a happy bonus."
