"It's a unique older property that has a lot of character and interesting decor. The room I got on arrival wasn't clean, hair and wet, and on subsequent days the cleaning was subpar, eg. Still toothpaste in the sink, but they gave me more towels and water. When I did talk to the property they tried to fix things asap. The room I had, had a musty smell coming from the washroom. Bed was good."

"AC broke on the first hour there. Asked for a different room and was full and told to check tomorrow. Called five times to get the AC fixed and was told each time it would be. The next day I was told they would try fixing it again instead of moving me. Supposedly tried calling me later in the night for a switch. I tried calling reception twice on separate times with no answer. Checked out finally. Spent two days sweltering. Worst experience in my 5 days around Ireland so far."

"Stayed 1 night in a “deluxe” room, the experience started well with the unusual arrival via a short ferry and the drive through the private island, but sadly the luxury experience ended as soon as we had parked up and headed for check-in. Little did we know that the hotel was largely booked out by a huge wedding party, to even get to reception required us to gatecrash through their “private” BBQ held on the lawn in front of hotel. "If you are looking for peace and quiet - this isn't the hotel for you. Very (very) noisy due to the huge amount of families with small children. However, the outdoor infinity pool is a quiet oasis away from the chaos!"
