"This stay five was out of this world. This is a historic castle that has amazing public areas and the private rooms are warm and inviting. Staff was helpful and hands off unless you needed assistance, the main dining room had French service and breakfast in the solarium was a great start to our day. "I can not say enough about Wilton castle. It was amazing staying in the self contained suites. There was a fire place in the suite that was prepared and ready to go everyday. The property itself is amazing, at one point in our stay we were the on people there. Pretty unrealistic staying on a property like this by yourself. "From our arrival til our departure, the service at Mount Juilet was impeccable. The Hotel itself is beautiful with spacious well decorated rooms, well thought out amenities and a lovely spa. We both enjoyed massages (some of the best we have had). Meals in The Hound were tasty and well priced. The Saddle bar has a lovely atmosphere and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting Sean who offers historical talks on tbe estate on Thursday and Sunday evenings. "We had a lovely stay at Lyrath Estate from the 1st to the 4th of January. The hotel was still decorated for Christmas, which added to the festive feel. The staff were a standout. There were plenty of staff on hand, and everyone we encountered was friendly, courteous and helpful. It was like they embodied the character of the hotel, which was so refreshing and welcoming. I would highly recommend to communicate with the host ahead of time, because while the contact phone number is listed at multiple points on the property, it can be difficult for a traveler without phone service. I was traveling from another country and had data only, I was fortunate to have a local person lend me their phone so I could check in that first evening.
