"It's convenience and spectacular view of the harbor over looking Charlotte Amelia for our last night. The front desk lady on the mid-shift was so pleasant and knowledgeable to our questions. The restaurant's atmosphere was perfect for my wife and I as we lived in the VI for many years. To finish our stay, our taxy driver was like a private tour guide to the airport. "The Island View was charming, the views were fantastic, and the staff were friendly and attentive! We had an earlier morning and they were very kind to make us a breakfast to go. Food was great! If I had to come up with any complaint it would be that the pool (shaded for a good portion of the day) was a bit chilly, but my husband didn’t mind that."

"It’s a stunning, unique hotel. One great way to keep the wrong people from visiting? Tell them that there are no televisions in the rooms! From my perspective, that’s a big plus! And it signals that this hotel, combines luxury, history, and is aimed at the type of traveler who did not come to watch TV.."

"Unfortunately, this location was not great. After traveling for hours from IL we wanted to kick back, but we spent the entire evening trying to book another villa. There was a strong moldy smell as you walked in. Sand was on the chair, floor, & stove. The air conditioner in the bedroom had a hole in it where anything can crawl in. The ceiling also had water damage & it was exposed and moldy. The faucet in the bathroom was super loose so when you went to wash your hands the whole thing moved....
