"Clean room friendly staff"

"Room was reasonably clean, AC worked fine. The place looks like it has deteriorated significantly over 20 years perhaps due to hurricanes. Still the staff was nice and helpful at times. Perfect ocean views from all rooms, and easy access - 3 min walk from airport"

"Great overall experience! Great views from balcony- spacious- clean rooms with kitchen area, pool deck with hot tub great views overlooking cruise port area. Also bar and restaurant in that same area with good food. Stairs- but not a problem unless you just cant do stairs. Central location- parking on site. Would def stay here again!"

"I paid for the insurance I boarded the plane had a seizure the United Airlines was very helpful and was safe the property ignored me and wasn't able to communicate with no one and Expedia was unable to get help for me. I will never book here again as much as ai travel my 1st medical emergency and no accommodations were made. "

"Power went out often on the island, a generator is needed at this property. Out flight was cancelled and we lost a day. I was told we would get credit for that but haven’t received confirmation of that yet. Location is okay, taxi service is a few blocks away, restaurants close. Not sure if I’d return or recommend at this time, still waiting on owner to honor his verbal agreement. But no matter what, a generator is desperately needed to protect a quality experience. "

"Dated and dirty. No AC, no hot water, rolling blackouts. Room smelled of mildew. Debris spread all around the property. Wish we had done mor research before booking."

"The room itself was nice and adequate. However, the pool was very dirty, common areas in poor condition, WIFI was useless (extremely slow), had dinner plans for 7pm at the restaurant (reservation made by lady at front desk) and later called saying they weren't serving dinner. "

"Don't plan on getting access to your room right away! We arrived 3 hrs. early and asked to check our bags as the room was not yet ready. We returned at check in time and still had to wait an additional 1.5 hrs. for check in. The room itself was fine. The bar on site did not opened until 5:30 pm and the restaurant was less than desirable in atmosphere, quality of food and more. the best thing about this Hotel is that it is walking distance from the Charolotte Amilie Ferry. ...

"Had a great experience. Breathtaking views. Lovely boutique hotel FYI- Make sure you have everything you need from town before going back up to the hotel (especially food- if you are a late night snacker)"

"The room was very clean but a little dated and our closet door fell off one day. The bar and restaurant were good but slow on getting waited on. On cruise ship days there were loads of extra people on the property which also caused slow service. "

"What a beautiful place to stay on St. John, a great location with outstanding views. The restaurant was wonderful, we had two outstanding dinners and enjoyed after dinner drinks at the bar each evening. Staff was outstanding, friendly and helpful! We are planning to return in 2027!"

"For the price we paid i was not happy with the cleanliness. Dirty bedding. Our shower also didn’t drain so standing in the sandy water was nasty. Other than that, location was great. "
