"The resort is in a nice location and the view from our room was beautiful. However, the room itself is quite run down (stained carpet, chipped furniture, broken blinds). There is no A/C, so the room was very warm in the afternoon and evening. The ceiling fan, and the extra fan the hotel provides, didn’t really help to cool the room down."

"No parking close to unit. The restaurant served mediocre Bar Food at fine dining prices and had no atmosphere at all. This resort has seen better days. I thought about kayaking, but the equipment is old and grungy and the launching beach is covered in green, smelly slime. I stopped in to the office a couple of times and there is no one on duty (bell is useless) and no way to contact anyone directly. I left a message which was never answered. All in all I could have booked a week in Whistler...

"Great location - walking distance to Ganges with all the restaurants and harbour side. Restaurant in hotel very convenient and great for breakfast first thing in the morning. Hotel looks very nice and well maintained. Close to Long Harbour ferry terminal as well and convenient for all sightseeing within the island. For EV drivers, there are EV chargers across the street at Moby's Pub. No issue getting around the island without charging anyways. Ample parking as well. Overall a good stay"

"rooms ok but dusty breakfast just ok grounds looked gorgeous on ad but were completely neglected garbage cans overfilled therefore garbage on grounds advertised beautiful gardens was complete false advertising all guests reported same complaints"

"Older simple cabin and clean. Bed was comfortable. Lots of hot water. I would bring bottled water for drinking because well water always has an acquired taste. Grounds are beautiful. Some nice shoreline access paths within walking distance. Drive to Montague Park is short. Communication with staff was excellent. We loved our stay. Thank you very much for a lovely stay. Our doggie loved it too."
