"Good room in a good location with a nice bar"

"Had a great stay but the set up for using spa area and pool is very poor for hotel guests , been going here for 5 years now and always enjoyed using hot tub etc now it’s 2 hr slots Had to book spa day and when time was up tried to pay for another 2 hrs but told fully booked even though place only had 12 people using , will find new place to go next year as only good for 1 night now unless u wish to pay extra £300 for spa day "

"Good parking, all very clean, better cooking facilities needed to be honest especially if staying in a lodge for longer than 1 or 2 nights. Hot tub and sauna fab and very clean. Robes and slippers were provided for getting in and out the hot tub etc and separate towels to use for showers. The lock on the main bathroom didn't work and the handle eventually fell off but once reported they fixed the handle but not the lock."

"Lovely views from our loch view room. Breakfast was first class - provided everything you could want. Swimming pool good. Staff friendly. The lady with the red glasses in the breakfast room was so nice and welcoming and cheery. Bar prices a bit expensive. "

"Hotel is being renovated (poorly) while opened. Bar was cold (both temperature and atmosphere. It is not a comfortable place. It’s also based on Indian culture and not Scottish. I am in Scotland. Not India. "

"Hotel is very run down, we waited at the reception for a bit before being seen to! Hallway and stairs are in need of a good clean and paint! Very run down. Room was freezing, no heating on. Damp on windows and ceiling and that was supposed to be a refurbished room! Needless to say we didn’t stay and left straight away! Out of pocket. Light fitting in hall hanging down from ceiling (dangerous). Hallway hadn’t even been hoovered. STAY CLEAR OF THIS HOTEL!!! "
