"Friendly staff, beautiful rooms "

"The staff and hotel were lovely and the location was great for what we needed. Although it was very lovely and quiet at night, We did struggle to sleep comfortably as the mattress was quite springy and uncomfortable and the pillows for myself personally were either too soft or hard and big but that is a personal preference and you cannot please everyone. The rooms themselves were both lovely that we had booked. A double and a family room both lovely rooms.We did have a powercut to our room which...

"Hotel and staff were lovely. Showers are a nightmare though, the design is terrible as they just leak constantly all over the floor. "

"The Foxes Den is a perfect place to stay. Our room was very comfortable, beautifully designed and well equipped. The restaurant provided excellent food, both for dinner and breakfast. It was run very efficiently by a great team of staff."

"Lovely rustic pub / hotel. Room was great with the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in for some time. Kitchen was closed for refurbishment but only a short walk into the centre of the village. Good choice of cask ales in the bar. Will stop here again if work brings me back to the area"

"Overall I found the White Hart excellent value for money. It's a dated property, but the room had been painted and the bathroom spruced up not long ago, so it was neat and clean. The parking area/entrance was a bit cramped and could do with some sprucing up. The breakfast was great value for a cooked breakfast and continental selection, and the cinnamon bun was delicious!"

"We had a great time at Rectory Manor, a lovely old georgian country house set in mature garden of trees and lawn with a swimming pool and tennis court if you want some exercise. Our room (the Hudson) was furnished in the country house style and was supremely comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit small and slightly dated. The bath was too small to properly soak. On the plus side we had an unexpected balcony that caught the morning sun whilst giving beautiful country views...
