"Well what a really pleasant place, surpassed all expectations. We stayed in The Horseshoe Suite and it was perfect for a short stay. Our only problem would have been the bath size - small, but the shower was more than adequate. The bed was very large and very comfortable with exceptionally white bed linen, every where was very clean and tidy. "Very glad that there was a lift. My single room was small but had all I needed. The shower was a really good size which made it easy to get into. There is a lounge with a lovely view of the sea. You can walk down to North Bay beach. The breakfast was extra but very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only problem is that there are steps from the street to the front door."

Had a problem with the bedside lamp - she fixed it, injured my knee, she fed me (not for free I hasten to add before scores of people want the same!). She cooked my breakfast and made sure I was made to feel VERY welcome. Sort of sorry to leave!"
"We stayed with our young son for 3 nights in July 2024. The staff were absolutely lovely, so welcoming and helpful with everything we needed and great with interacting with our young son. The food - breakfast and dinner - is truly incredible with nothing too much trouble. The only downside we experienced really was that we were in a room on the top floor which, while the room had clearly been hoovered etc, it was dusty in places with lots of cobwebs - while we don't mind spiders, we removed...
"This hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the train station. There is a restaurant in the hotel which you can book once you have checked in . Communication from all the staff was outstanding during my stay. There is a lift inside the hotel. They also do bar meals. This hotel is a 40 minute walk to Oliver's Mount. I would stop here again "
"Our stay was lovely: the manageress, bar staff and waitresses were all welcoming. They provided information about the local area and showed interest when we returned after our days out.
We stayed three nights in a very comfortable room, with a good selection at breakfast. We ate in one evening which very tasty.

"Daughter and I stayed for a night whilst attending a concert and we could not have hoped for a better hotel. The personal service and attention to detail, catering for all additional needs, was superb. Breakfast included huge choice of continental and freshly cooked to order food. Particularly recommend the smoked salmon and eggs.
