It was our first time at miricia and I have to say one of the best we’ve stayed in very friendly from the off when we got there was made very welcome the accommodation was really nice and comfortable and the breakfast was second to none would recommend this guest house to anyone keep up the great work you do 👍👍👍👍

An independent hotel that would win Four In A Bed

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience, the owner is incredibly attentive and welcoming. Breakfast was beautiful and all that you could want, very accommodating too of dietary requirements. An independent hotel that would win Four In A Bed :D

Fabulous stay at miricia guest house, would definitely return, lovely views of the beach as soon as you walk out. Breakfast was amazing and owners are really nice, massive 5 stars from us!!

Miricia hotel Scarborough

Booked the Miricia 4 months in advance for my wife's birthday, paid extra for the best room with stunning sea view only to be told when we arrived that the hotel had been vacant since January but no one could be bothered to inform me otherwise I would have rearranged or cancelled for a later date, I'm absolutely disgusted that the owner couldn't find the time to inform me in 4 months, pathetic. If it wasn't for Shelley at the phoenix court hotel who was brilliant our break would have been ruined, she's the best.

Warm and friendly with a beautiful view

We enjoyed our stay it was very welcoming. The only downside to the room is it was on the top floor but maybe i should have requested a lower floor. It was beautiful and clean with nice sea view. The breakfast was very nice and had my sons breakfast he liked. The lady who hosted for us was warm and friendly. I give 5 stars and will maybe stay again

Delightful location. My small 1st floor room had glorious view over the north bay. Welcomed on arrival and given helpful advice about places to eat. Loved the colourful breakfast room with its sea vista filling one wall. Unable to park outside at first, but moved nearer later on. Grateful of the parking permit. Steep walk to sands one way and town centre/ south bay the other, A test for the old legs!

Parked on the street right outside the hotel. Was greeted by the friendly host upon arrival and given a parking permit for the duration of our stay. Lovely clean room with comfortable beds and clean fluffy towels. Clean shared bathroom with nice warm shower. A kettle in the room with well stocked tea, sugar and milk. A small sink in the room, ideal for brushing teeth and refilling the kettle! A lovely sea view from the attic room 11. Very quiet in and around the guest house. Would definitely stay again.

Great spot, we had a view of the sea. Shelley cleans efficiently although a bin was missed. However the hotel has been split up from a once grand house, our room was barely a double, a small bed pushed against the wall, and wuith four rooms on our floor to only one tiny bathroom there's really not enough to go round and daily cleaning isn't enough. The hotel was obviously refurbished a little while ago. The cheap hotel decor is slightly annoying but it's OK. However it needs checking, our bathroom had no towel holder as it's broken, the shower curtain only just stays in the tray so bathroom floods, just needs a quality check not the naff signs on the wall.
