"This was absolutely one of the best stays I’ve ever had in Japan or any place else! The mom and daughter duo who run it are so sweet, helpful and genuine, the room was terrific, and breakfast delicious. The location is right where you want to be, within walking distance of lots of Nara sights and great food. I STRONGLY recommend staying at Matsumae Ryokan if at all possible."

"This property is close to Nara Park and many great restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"立地良し！！！"

"海外の方が比較的多いように思いましたが、特に気になる事なく、快適に過ごせました。 施設も新しく、宿泊者限定の施設も充実していました。"

"I always stay here when I am in Nara. It is right next to the train station so it makes it a walk to get to the main sights but it is awesome you don’t have to carry your luggage far. The spa is great, they have washing machines, the breakfast is amazing, it is super clean, the beds are comfortable, the elevators/guest ratio is good, and it is quiet. Only thing I hate is the light in the entry way is motion detecting…every time you go to the bathroom, it turns on!"

"Great little hotel in Nara. Room was clean and nice with a balcony that was private despite facing the street (high walls). Only stayed one night so didn’t use many amenities but there was an onsen for guests which was nice as well as a self serve kitchen (perhaps self serve outside of breakfast hours) that we used. More traditional style room but with western style bed. It is right beside the park and a 5-10 minute walk to kintetsu-Nara station. Very close to lots of food and shops, and of...

"ที่พัก สะอาดและของใช้ครบถ้วน พนักงานบริการดี"

"Fantastic breakfast including fresh breads and Japanese hot dishes. Homemade fresh local tofu. Many organic foods. Close to station and shops and restaurants. Great view of Nara City at night during the happy hour or morning during breakfast. Basic pillow was traditional Japanese pillow filled with beans or grain. Other softer pillows were available from the front reception area. The hotel is working hard to reduce/eliminate carbon footprint. As a traveler with small luggage at the end...

"ใกล้แหล่งช๊อปปิ้ง ไม่ไกลจาก Nara Park สามารถเดินไปได้"

"二部屋でダブルベットが合計五つもあり、洗濯機もあるので、家族二世代で数日間の滞在ができると思います。キッチンも充実しているのでスーパーで買い物して料理を楽しむこともできます。また奈良に行く機会があれば利用したいです。"

"The breakfast menu was delicious. You had the choice of Japanese or other styles"

"駅から思ったより近くてとても便利でした。お部屋も清潔で、音も気になりませんでした。朝食の種類がもう少しあったら嬉しいです。全体的にはお値段に合っていたと思います。"

"Hotel was amazing, room could've been better. For some reason there was zero towel hooks in the bathroom or outside in the Onsen. You could see where the hook fell off in the bathroom. Makes it unfortunate when you want towels to air out or just keep near by. We hung them on the doors of the closet which was far from the onsen and bathroom. The other issue. The drain in the shower was so slow that we could shower for long. Maybe 3 minutes and the water would backup above the door sill and go...

"Too expensive for what it offeres and the small of mold was not good."
