"Nice looking hotel in a lovely location. It is conveniently located in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park making it ideal to get out and about either walking, hiking, and cycling in the surrounding area. Waterfall country is about a 30 minute drive away. Very friendly and polite staff. Food was on the slightly pricey side but it was excellent quality. Can’t comment on the pool, spa or gym facilities as we did not use them. The hotel ceilings as well as the room we stayed in...

"A lovely hotel. Cosy, spacious rooms. Very airy. Very clean bed, nice linens. Large shower, fab lit up mirror in the bathroom. TV was in good working condition and on a swivel bracket so could be watched from the bed, or sofa. There were waters, 2 lotus biscuits, tea and coffee in the rooms. The best bit were the fans in the wardrobe, which were powerful and much needed in the hot weather, so we were able to get a good nights sleep. Breakfast the next morning was varied and good quality. "Beautiful large country house in spectacular surroundings with a fantastic welcome from the gentleman at reception who couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful! A brilliant start! The room was cosy and had everything one would expect and the shower was great too! The decor was so smart and well-suited to the rest of the property. We were lucky enough to be situated in the coach house on the ground floor so we had some French doors on to a patio table and chairs which was great to relax on...
