"The Cairn Hotel is a lovely hotel in a great location, with friendly and helpful staff throughout my stay. Whilst my room wasn’t en-suite, my private toilet was 2 steps across the corridor - not big deal, but remember your key otherwise you're locked out of your room Dinner was excellent from a well appointed menu, I had the haggis lasagne which was very well presented, generously portioned, and served efficiently. "The location is good. With trailheads within walking distance. They’ve tried to automate processes that either don’t work or are useless. For example the automated car registration didn’t help them notify me that my car would be blocked for a morning while heavy equipment was being moved in. Free WiFi means no useable WiFi. They did upgrade my WiFi service but should just ditch the ‘free’ version. The staff are multitasking leaving people waiting for services. Hats off to them."

"Such a beautiful house, and our room was fantastic. We stayed one night and the breakfast was delicious. No problem parking; the grounds were well kept. Jodi welcomed us, and even helped with dinner reservations. I loved the bathrobe touch, and the room was super cute. The price was a bit high, but we only stayed one night, so no discount for multiple nights . We really liked our short stay, and how close it was to walking to a restaurant."

"The Bunkhouse B&B is a great location if you are visiting the Speyside area. The owner is friendly and was very helpful and the breakfast was great. Be sure to check out the walking trail in back of the B&B along the Spey river."

"Pros - good shower and heating. Cons - Electricity (main light) in the room seemed faulty and the TV didn’t work, as there is rarely anyone available in reception, I didn’t bother trying to get it fixed. The hotel is in need of renovation, very noisy and dated, bar staff not attentive, food overcooked/burnt in places. Prices vary massively from the same room, so ok if you can grab a bargain would be very disappointing if you paid double."

"The staff were amazing! They went above and beyond to make us feel at home at every step. Facilities were a little less "family friendly" than a more modern hotel but we still really enjoyed our time with our toddler!"
