"A beautiful positioned hotel with lovely sea views. The check in procedure was slow, chaotic and not at all coordinated, which spoiled our overall experience. Reception was full of guests and luggage all waiting to check in after 2pm, many having waited for hours. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but the balconies are tiny and only just accommodate the 2 chairs and small table, making it impossible to walk around these. The views are a bonus though. "We can highly recommend the Le Meridian hotel outside Split on the beach. Be aware that it is a good 20+ minute ride out of town. That being the case, don't get into a cab unless you negotiate in advance the price of the trip. We were conned into a cab ride from the marina and the driver tried to charge us 75 Euros to get to the hotel.
