"The hotel is undergoing renovations and I stayed in one of the recently renovated rooms. It was beautiful and very comfortable. Sadly you can see there are already signs of wear and tear (a spill on the carpet outside my room, a dirty footprint on the carpet by the elevator, a letter missing from a sign next to the elevator). I tried to watch TV (there were two different remotes) but no matter what buttons I pushed, I could not figure out how to change channels. It wasn't important enough to me...
"we were very impressed with the South Service Rd Burlington , Ontario Comfort Inn. Good breakfast, nice facility inviting rooms, all round lovely.
Our only complaint was, there is no elevator to the second floor, and my mom who is 95 yrs old has difficulty with the stairs. Especially having to carry luggage.
The night staff was very helpful, and even though she had a broken arm, carried the one suitcase to the room. "
"Really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. It was very convenient to where we were staying and was very quiet. Everyone from maids to management were very friendly and assisted us when we needed something. We will definitely stay again!"
"This property was a huge disappointment and not as described. We were placed in a basement unit despite booking what was advertised as a “premier house.” It’s not suitable for six guests. we were only five and still found it inadequate.
Basic essentials were lacking: just two rolls of toilet paper for six days (the host was arguing with us that there was more even though we have picture proof there was two), towels smelled of mildew, and not enough sheets for the beds we requested. Amenities...
"Front lobby staff were excellent and very helpful on check-in, but had a rude experience with one front desk staff when asking for a late check-out, think the name was Karen and maybe a manager, who was very rude. She basically said "late check-out you pay" but when I went to the lobby to ask a young staff, she said "no problem take your time". We only checked-out late by about 15 minutes!
Otherwise the stay was comfortable, the room was big and quiet, the heating system worked well as did the WiFi. Parking was free, near a gas station and just off the highway so it was a good location for our transit stop in an 8 hour drive in the winter."
