New hotel, well maintained, spotlessly clean, European style rooms and modern bathrooms (without going overboard with extra frills). Hotel has good amenities, although the pool is nothing more than a splash pool for the kids. Dinner buffet is really good. Staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. The hotel is located on the main road, but rooms at the back are quiet. Beach is a short (and cheap) rickshaw ride away. Overall it's hard to fault the hotel.

They are not 5 star, not even 3 star. Everything was disappointing other then their Breakfas. Room was not made properl, no hand soap in the bathroom, floor was not clean, only one toothbrush, paste, and sandals were given in a room for two. In yhe toilet Toilet-Paper was not enoug. When i called the front office they told me to call Housekeeping and make my room!!!!"

Good location and friendly staff but I think the hotel would benefit from an upgrade, particularly the shower as the water heater seems to be small and local to each bathroom. If you plan to have a bit longer shower, then you are in for a cold shower.

Was good but not best service.. They don't fulfill any special requests like put some flower in room... The switches and bathroom tools seems old and not working properly..

"Excellence" can be improved

Cleanliness was first class, which made me extremely happy and comfortable. In the swimming pool area including sauna and steam baths, there was no shower, I think. I could not enjoy sauna as much as I wanted because I could not cool myself down with cold water. Also, there was no room to change clothes. Since it was only me who wanted to use the sauna at that time, I put off and on my clothes inside the sauna. In the hotel room there was a kind of notice/advertisement saying something like, "20% discount for all room service menu", but there was no "menu" anywhere. I had to call the room service asking for a food menu to take my dinner. Then a restaurant menu was brought in. However, in other hotels there is a list of food that can be delivered as part of their room service. I also want to add here that the "20% discount" was not applied to my dinner bill though it was ordered as room service. The hotel has wonderful facilities and there should be a leaflet in the guest room summarizing them with locations and details on how to use them including fees. After making the hotel booking, I called the hotel to inquire whether the hotel provides or rents swimming costume to hotel guests. The answer was "Yes", but in fact there was no such service. Overall, it was a nice stay and I enjoyed very much. If only the hotel management may learn more how to run the hotel to maximize the satisfaction of guests as Long Beach Hotel has many excellent facilities!

Long on value

Long Beach is the best high(ish) end hotel value in CXB. It blows away the nearby located and similarly priced Hotel the Cox Today (actual name). Long Beach has recently gone through a remodel and all the amenities were very nice. It’s breakfast is excellent, with an expansive spread of Bangladeshi and continental fare, as well as a made-to-order egg station. (Unfortunately no real coffee, only mix). It has a small gym and a moderately sized pool. The rooms have an extra nook with desk. Only minus was the bathroom did smell of sewage (I had stayed there previously in a different room and did not have the smell problem)

Great location

The location is excellent as you can walk to the beach in less than 10 minutes. The staff are kind and the hotel is fairly nice.

町のメインストリートに面した広い客室のホテル

インターネットの接続がよくないこと，メインストリートに面しているためにクラクションの音や通行人の声が気になるが，広い客室と価格を考えれば，非常にお勧めのホテルであると思います。

Clean & Convenient Hotel in cheap price!

Hotel was good but their some service need to be update like TV, they use old small Display LCD TV but now maximum hotels are using LED big Screen TV. Very noise sound came from swimming pool music cafe. So hotel authority must change it asap.

Ich komme wieder.

Es war allgemein gut. Im Zimmer würde die minibar unbekannte Grunde abmontiert. Café 14 war sehr gut zu beurteilen und Restaurant war auch gut und günstig. Personal waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Friendly nice hotel on main strip in Cox's Bazaar.

Even though Hotels.com messed up our booking and they phone representative could not speak understandable English, the Bangladeshi Management and staff were very helpful. In fact everyone in the Bangladeshi hotel spoke better English that the Hotels.com representative. Very nice stay and staff were excellent.

Extremely Nice Hotel and Staff

The Long Beach Hotel is exceedingly nice and has an excellent staff. We stayed at the hotel for four days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our interactions with the hotel staff were always very pleasant and the staff continually did everything they could to make us feel comfortable and respond to any of our requests. A few examples would be when the security guard out front assisted in taking photos of us with local citizens, how the people working at reception provided outstanding assistance about visiting sites in town, the attentiveness of restaurant personnel and right up to the hotel manager going out to the street with us to assure our tom tom driver got the right directions. I want to highly commend how well the hotel employees perform their jobs. The hotel itself was outstanding. It was very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed both the hotel restaurant and the cafe which were very relaxing and comfortable with a good selection of food options. My stay at this hotel was better than any other I have ever experienced.
