"Honestly if I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. It’s a 10 min drive to town, 30 min walk. The attention to detail here was amazing, the staff cleaned my room daily. The shower was SOOO hot and the private jacuzzi was used daily. If you want a relaxing, beautiful comfortable place to stay look no further. I felt very safe as a solo female traveler. There is security on site and reception is reached through what’s app. "

"I was not sure what to except in the small town of La Fortuna. The hotel offered a beautiful landscaped breathtaking scene of the volcan. Although while we were there it rained every day we did get a sneak peak one morning of the volcano. Rooms are nice, beds are comfortable. The pool was used by the kids every day, even in the rain. "The Hotel del Rio was absolutely amazing. The staff was super helpful in all regards from event planning to dining to recommendations on sights to see etc. The rooms were very clean and modern. Every morning they asked about whether we wanted service or not. The on site amenities were very diverse from sports to spas. Even our kids did not get bored. Lots of trails for walking. The rooms were very private as well, I am not sure I saw or heard another guest except for at the restaurant. ...

"Everything i say about this hotel is not enough. The nature, scenery, animals (birds, frogs, other creatures like coati...) it's a paradise. Extremely friendly staff , they learn their guests name and call them greet them warmly by their names. Restaurant food is great snd toothsome, the housekeeping is excellent. Everyday they model the towels in different shapes, like cats, elephants,..!! Staying at this hotel is going to be one of the most memorable stays for you. The location is also close...
