Lovely rooms, helpful staff, and beautiful wellness area which includes a sauna and steam room. Best part was the wide selection of food for breakfast. Bathroom draining could use some work as it was clogged.

Beautiful with need to update

The hotel is beautiful. A few minutes by car from Cortina, or a 30-40 minute walk, but they offer a shuttle from the hotel to city center upon request and at no cost. The spa was great. Had many options, but timeframe to use it, is limited. Basically 5 hours on the day you get there, and that’s if you’re not doing any other activity. The spa is available from 1pm til 8pm every day, which means you can’t use it the following morning. Pool should be considered separate from the Spa. Despite being in the mountains, it can get very hot during the summer and the hotel had no AC. They asked us to open the windows, but later provided one of the few fans they have available within the hotel.

We stayed in a suite, in the new area of the hotel. The biggest minus is the location - in front of a busy street, so the noise was overwhelming. The rooms were lovely, two bathrooms, which was great. However, there was no AC, and one afternoon the temperature in the room reached a smoldering 32C. They also charged us an extra $700 for having a third person - my daughter, which is crazy, because the price for the suite was high enough. The breakfast was not impressive, and the food choices for dinner limited.

The hotel is not living to expectations and not reflecting the price paid. It is near the main road with a lot of traffic noise. Service is poor, coffee machine not working, no refill of bottle water for the second day and the coffee machine not working.
