"The Pod was amazing, we don’t think the photos do it justice! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to visit again. Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. The location is brilliant, so close to St Ives and Carbis Bay, and the main bus route is right on the main road. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. "

"An amazing hidden Gem. if you want quirky glamping, this is the place for you. Lizzie and Mike are fantastic hosts, made us feel more than welcome. They went above amd beyond. The railway sleeper had everything we needed, kitted out kitchen, communal wash and showers. If you want a peaceful break and dont mind sharing your outside space with Cockerell and beautiful bantams, I would highly recommend. Local village has everything you need and is a 1.5 mile walk."

"Beautiful tranquil setting with wonderful outdoor space. The sheep are wonderful companions, and the sauna, outdoor bath and fire pit are luxurious additions. Inside, the bed is very comfortable and there are many thoughtful touches including bathrobes.
We loved our stay and would definitely recommend!"

"We had a great stay, and the shepherds hut was the perfect place to come back to at the end of busy days exploring. Definitely pack light as there isn’t endless room for bags etc but worked really well for us, and our dog had a great time playing outside"

"My husband and I had such a lovely peaceful weekend away with our dog. Lesley and Simon were wonderful hosts and so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We didn’t want for anything whilst we were there and every little thing had been thought of. This little place was perfect and just the ticket for a quiet and relaxing weekend away. "

"Great hotel , very clean & the rooms were well decorated & well presented!! Food in the restaurant was excellent & all the staff were so helpful. Have rebooked already 10/10"
"If want to experience a stay in a unique local hotel, this is it. The building is Victorian, and the environment is comfortable but not trendy. Not everything matches or was updated in the same year, but that is what makes it feel more homey to me. They could probably do with some bathroom upgrades, but everything worked fine and truly that’s all you need. The restaurant is very gluten free friendly, and their gluten free fish and chips were great. The breakfast was very extensive with generous portions. The hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The location on the Promenade made it even more special. I would stay here again."
"Room was clean and pleasant. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. Pool was very welcome on a few very hot days one suggestion there were quite a few elderly people there ( me included ) who had trouble pulling themselves up on the steps but I couldn't get out on the other steps as there was no handrail. Very enjoyable few days ."
"The great western is updating rooms . We got a family room that was newly renovated and it was beautifully done, we had a sea view and street view. There was a misunderstanding on my booking but staff were very helpful and sorted it all out. The hotel has limited parking but you have the option to prebook a space. We struggled with our Irish phone to book parking at the train station as it wouldn't download the app. The breakfast menu had plenty of choice. We were only passing through so did not spend anytime in Newquay."
"Great place to stay in Falmouth. Excellent staff, very clean and well proportioned room. Limited parking. Good restaurant and nice bar both with great views. Easy walk into Falmouth. I’d highly recommend this hotel."
"The property was a little dated, but perfect for what we needed - quiet location with a nice little balcony to sit out on in the morning with a coffee and to watch the sunrise! Great breakfast also."
