"An Absolute Gem in Paradise! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you are looking for an authentic, warm, and family-friendly retreat in Kauai, look no further than the Kauai Inn. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and taken care of—all thanks to the incredible manager, Chris, who goes above and beyond to ensure every guest has a magical stay. What makes this place so special is its wonderful nostalgic charm. There is something so delightful and old-school about carrying around a real, physical room key instead of a plastic card! It immediately sets a relaxed, laid-back tone for your Hawaiian vacation. The property is practically made for families: * The Pool: Clean, refreshing, and surrounded by lush greenery, it was a massive hit with the kids after a long day of exploring. * The Breakfast: A fantastic, delicious way to start every morning without the stress of rushing out to find a restaurant. * The Live Music: Hearing local music played live on the property added the most enchanting, soulful atmosphere to our evenings. If you want a genuine Hawaiian experience full of aloha spirit, comfort, and character, stay here. We cannot wait to come back. "The facility is very well maintained and the staff was very nice. We loved that they had free laundry units available to all guests and provided detergent. There were water stations throughout the facility. The gym was also very clean and new. Our family loved that the pools were open 24 hours. We would definitely come back again."

"Beautiful resort with balcony view of the bay and ocean. Rooms were cleaned everyday. Food was delicious in all of the restaurants. Pool was fantastic, Beach area and view was phenomenal! The only thing I can say I was disappointed about was, my new wife and I didn't get a Lei when we arrived. Everything else was absolutely perfect. Great stay!"

"We had flight and traffic delays. Staff emailed to inform us what we needed to do if we arrive after 8 pm. It was very hot and humid when we were there. It was nice that the A/C was running before we got there. It was very refreshing and comforting."

"We were disappointed that the air conditioner was broken and we had a few window units. They were noisy and not very efficient. We got the note about the AC almost a month before our stay. Seems like they had time to fix it… We were told there was no pack n play for the toddler that was traveling with us and was sent a link to rent it??? That is one thing that absolutely should be provided by the property. So we stopped on the way from the airport to purchase one which was cheaper than renting one from the link. When we arrived there we found…a pack n play in one of the closets. Nice, but took valuable time both purchasing and returning ours. Frustrating. Great location, close to wonderful beaches, turtles and seals! There was a closet at the property that was SO helpful, it had a cooler, beach chairs and umbrellas, sand toys and goggles. We were very grateful for these and got lots of use out of them."
