"Staff was nice & helpful. Room was clean and spacious like a big studio. Looked Just like the pictures. Location was not bad, theres parking on the property so if you're driving i think its good. I walked to some places & took cabs. The spots to go out at night are much closer to this area vs. The hotels all the way down by the port. However this area is more so in the neighborhood. At night everyone is out running so it felt safe walking to nearby areas since its a quiet area."

"The food was delicious in their restaurant, the property itself is beautiful, and the staff were all so helpful and nice. Most important of all was the comfortable beds. We have already booked for a stay when we return."

"I felt fortunate to stay at the Triggerfish B&B. After a very long travel day from US with delayed flights, missed water taxi and sold out flights to ambergris caye, i found this B&B gem approx 7-9 mins from airport. The place was immaculate and located on a canal with lots of birds. The hosts, Cathy and Dan, are wonderful people. Cathy’s hospitality is top notch as well as her cooking. Tip: black bean chipotle burger for dinner and fry jacks for breakfast….mmmmmm. The room is very comfortable, chills down nicely with AC and a great shower. The screened porch is nice to hang out on in the evening. I highly recommend the Triggerfish. And I felt safe as a female solo traveler."

The room was clean, cozy, and a good spot to relax after being out for the day running around. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a simple, pleasant stay, and I'd be happy to come back again."

"If you are looking for the jungle experience than this is the place for you. We were greeted by the local troop of Howler monkeys on arrival. Beautiful house right on the river. Locals had been seeing Manitee in the river near the house. Kenny and Shanna were great. We are already planning a return trip. "

"The place was clean but the photos are showing 2 places. The beds were confortable. The bedroom were not insonorated like it was written so we could ear lots of neighborhood dogs barking at night. Overall the place had everything we needed to visit that local part of Belize."
