"The hosts are a friendly, experienced hostel business family. I enjoyed the breakfasts and the homey vibe. I'd like to leave two hopefully helpful pieces of advice for the visitors. If you're using a ride-hailing service, the car is not supposed to stop at the front of the house; it's better to use the spot on W 35th Ave or the back alley to get on / off. If your booked room is on the second floor and your luggage is heavy, be ready to lift it by yourself, as there is no elevator available."

"This beautiful small hotel is tucked away on Granville Island. The staff are phenomenal, and the location is perfect for accessing so much of Vancouver. If you love walking, the hotel sits right on the path — you can head up False Creek in one direction, or over the Kitsilano Beaches in the other direction. We can’t wait to return! "

"The property definitely needs renovation from the parking deck to to different rooms and floors and not just a wallpaper over up or repaint. The rooms look dated and the lighting gives motel 8 vibes. the bathrooms are probably the most clean and updated thing I had in my room. The balcony's covered in spiders and could use a pressure wash. the building could use a pressure wash and restore from the doors to the floors, to door knobs. it all looks dated and kinda dirty. the staff is amazing...

"The building is quite old and isn't really a "Hotel". per se. That said, it had what I needed for a cheap stay in a clean place. The staff were the highlight, though. Friendly, helpful - great, all around."

"The property location was great. Staff were friendly. WiFi was not working, the elevators were slow and out of four, only two worked and staff said the two hadn’t been repaired in some time. My porch was more like a small narrow landing out of metal and concrete and pigeon poop. It was a beautiful view and I loved my room but the deck landing was a bit sketchy."

"room was smaller than it looked in photos however it was very clean and had a big washroom. there was no microwave or fridge which would have been a nice amenity to have. staff were helpful and kind. "

"The room was great. Very clean. Staff were very accommodating. I had to have a late checkout because of the run race I was in and there was no problem or extra cost. I was on the 3rd floor overlooking Granville Street however and the outside street noise up to 5 am was quite noticeable. Perhaps time to redo the windows and patio door?! Lovely time overall."

"This hotel was pretty great! It's right across from the sky train station and Starbucks and right beside a convenience store. There are plenty of cute restaurants around as well. The room looked really new and stylish, and also romantic for the couples out there! Cute bathroom with amazing soap, shampoo, a lotion (I wish I had asked what brand because I want to buy it!)"
