"Cleanliness"

"First of all, the room was not cleaned after the previous guest, which is evident by the pubic hairs on the walls of the shower. Mold on the ceiling, smoke detector missing, ice machine broken the entire time so we had to drive and go buy some. Called and was told they would have someone check it out but never did. "We had an excellent one night stay. Casini, the GM has done a wonderful job with this property and staff. The wonderful lady overseeing the front desk was cheerful and helpful upon check-in. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. My daughters loved swimming in the pool and the automatic pancake maker At breakfast. "The place is an older hotel that really needs a thorough cleaning. Our beds and bedding were clean but there was carpet in both sleep spaces and it wasn’t clean, literally had to wipe sand and ‘grocery store’ feet off before getting into bed. It smelled a bit musty/damp too. The shower was tiny with poor water pressure. The pool and proximity to the beach were wonderful, though! The staff was kind and accommodating, but prepare to pay $15 per day to park."

"The Palmetto Hotel is an excellent place to stay in Panama City. It’s very clean, right on the beachfront, and conveniently located to the most popular eateries.
