"I was so pleasantly surprised by this property! We had a kitchen, so much space to just chill and so much space in the closets! There was a closet just for the shoes. Also it was really nice that a washer/dryer unit was in the room as well. It felt more like an apartment with hotel amenities. It was also really nice that several convenience stores were right by and a subway station was close by as well! It’s not in central myeongdong but I think I liked that factor. Definitely will stay here again!"

"Clean room. Staff is nice. Close to everything and the subway line 2 and 3. However, for an expensive hotel, i would have loved to have real coffee in the room and not those teabags. The coffee in the room was not good. The carpet needs to be replaced. "

"The Grand Hyatt Seoul has a fantastic location above Itaewon with beautiful views, and that's about all it has going for it. The service was among the worst I have experienced at a hotel in this category. I repeatedly asked for housekeeping and no one ever came. Turndown service simply doesn't exist here. For a property charging luxury rates, these are basics, not extras. Credit where it's due: a manager kindly moved me to a renovated room, which was a welcome gesture, and breakfast was decent enough. But one helpful staff member cannot make up for a hotel that seems indifferent to its guests. If you are considering the Grand Hyatt for a Seoul trip, I would strongly recommend the Four Seasons instead — comparable location in old Seoul, and they actually understand what service means."

"We are a couple from Canada and stayed at the Residence Unicorn in mid-March 2026. The unit is as described and everything works. (This is not a 5-star hotel, but suited us perfectly.) We appreciated the kitchenette and also the washing machine. It is an excellent location - close to subway/buses, emart next door, and many other useful shops. The host had great communication prior to and upon our arrival, was accommodating, and was a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended for the host, location and amenities. Thank you! "
