"A very beautiful and unique property. You definitely feel like you're in a fun experience here. It's built into the side of a cliff. We did have a teeny bit of trouble finding it as the property is behind a walls and a gate and so all of the pictures I have seen online you cannot see from the street, which could be difficult later at night, but when you get up to the blue gates you can see the name on the bell and buzz the owner and she's great about getting you in and showing you around. "We had a lovely couple of nights here. So quiet and relaxing, a true luxurious and romantic place. We had the lodge with the hot tub which had gorgeous views of the pond (number 17). Slight issue with horse flies when walking to and from the main area through the woods but they didn’t like insect repellent so that worked well. One slight downer was we didn’t get asked if we wanted to book tables for dinner in the evenings and one night was fully booked with what must have been non resident...

"Our experience with this stay was our favorite. The proprietor was so nice, very willing and happy to share his love of the place and how much he loved making the property sustainable. We would stay there again for sure. Our one regret was that we only stayed one night. Oliviiet helped us get a reservation at a beautiful restaurant near the chateau and kept in touch with us to make sure we got there. A truly lovely man and gentleman. "L'expérience a été un peu gâchée. L'hôtel très bien, la chambre excellente, les espaces restaurant, bar, sauna, piscine de bon niveau. Nous avons été très agréablement surpris. "Atmospheric Chateau but in need of a little upgrading. Staff were great and very helpful. Grounds were excellent to walk round. Breakfast was quite reasonable but dinner was poor value. Definitely plan on eating out. Rooms were huge but our bathroom had only a bath with no shower which given how big it was seemed a little strange. The Chateau is dog friendly which we appreciate and overall we enjoyed our stay "
