The Chatuchak neighbourhood is a northern suburb of Bangkok that caters for many thousands of tourists each week, especially on the weekend. The district is most famous for its large weekend market, but there are several other landmarks that are certainly worth exploring. The neighbourhood is easy to reach, despite the heavy traffic congestion. This is thanks to both the MRT and BTS transportation systems.

There are also several nightspots located around Chatuchak Park, including the famous Cha-bar Pub and GZ. These venues have enjoyed success thanks to their hip young clientele. Snooker bars are also in abundance at Chatuchak.

There are many different shopping facilities located within Chatuchak. Of course, the Chatuchak Weekend Market is the main shopping attraction in the district. However, the Ratchyothin Night Market, Or Tor Kor Market, and JJ Plaza are also worth checking out. Several department stores are also situated inside this neighbourhood, such as Central Ladprao and Union Mall.
