"We loved the views of the lake and volcano, the food was great, the hiking trails were tons of fun, the dante waterfall was beautiful, and the staff were absolutely amazing! We loved Howard and our beautiful waitress with red hair! Also, don't let the shared bathrooms scare you away from the casona. It was an amazing room with the best view and toucans!"
"This properly was absolutely beautiful, so green and lush and the veiws in every direction was amazing. The birds we seen, the walks we took were juat amazin. Highly recommend the jacuzzi outside the views all around juat no words. "

"OMG! We just loved Chongos Place! The cabins are so cute and beautiful, clean with all necessities. The porch with the hammock was just our favorite place. The plants right outside the porch invite these beautiful hummingbirds and butterflies that we got to observe up close! And the pool was amazing, we spend hours in it each day. Great if you have kids (my daughter never wanted to leave the pool!)
And to top it all... the view of the Arenal is breathtaking.

"Beautiful property. Is it a 5 star resort no but for the area and country it was. It provided my daughter and I a wonderful place to stay, feel safe, relax, and enjoy the beauty of Costa Rica.
There was maintenance going on but nothing that dampened our experience. They are expanding and thats great. All the workers were friendly and ecen when they were doing landsacaping they never came to our lodge when we were home so there was no feeling of our privacy being invaded.

"We had the room with the private pool this time, and let me tell you it was gorgeous!! The pool could use a little updating, but the property is under new ownership and they are renovating everything. When we got there we were told they were giving us a free tour at the hanging bridges… we’ve been to La Fortuna many times, but had never done this activity. This is a DO NOT MISS location! We saw so many birds, a coati, 5 different eyelash vipers, blue jean frogs, etc. I highly recommend...
"Dinner at the restaurant is fantastic! The Chocolate tour (5 min walk) was a great mid morning tour and very interesting - make and eat your own chocolate! The walk up to La Fortuna was challenging so ask for a ride of you need one. The owner was incredibly helpful and was able to get me a day pass to Baldi Springs for the locals rate :) "
"It's a pretty interesting property 1 large geothermal pool and 2 small ones. The grounds are kept very clean, I would say it's pristine compared to La Fortuna and they have their own farm that supplies milk, eggs and vegetables."
