"Receptionist extremely friendly, facilities fantastic for our overnight stopover. Great 2 bedroom appartment."

"Lit king size, très confortable Baignoire Propreté"

"BJ and Iris were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. The setting was great with wonderful views and a stones throw from Carcassonne city. Breakfast was wonderful with home made jams. BJ was also very kind to re freeze our ice packs for the onward journey. We will definitely be back."

"Parfait."

"We only stayed for one night before a morning flight from Carcassonne but wish we could have stayed longer! Our hosts went out of their way to make us comfortable without being intrusive. The house looks like something from the pages of a posh interior design magazine. We had a balcony to enjoy a glass of wine. Restaurants, supermarkets and the rail station are all a few minutes walk. And our host's baking skills made breakfast an absolute treat - you'll notice the delicious smells wafting...

"There are B&Bs you stay in that feel very corporate and then there are places like this one. It is family owned and operated, and the owners make you feel like family while you are there. They and their two daughters were happy to show you the property they renovated during Covid and worked so hard to turn into a beautiful little part of France. The location is convenient to Carcassonne and there are dining options there. This is located in the country so you'll need to travel into the city...

"We spent 2 nights in the hotel to visit Carcassonne. Our room had a large terrace with a terrific view of the walled town up on the hill. The room was a good size with very comforable beds and a modern bathroom. We had a good dinner on the night we arrived, but the wait staff seemed to be harried. Breakfast, 25 Euros, offered a great selection, but the "hot" items like scrambled eggs were all quite cold. The hotel is a short, but very vertical, walk up to the walled town, and quite close to...

"Rapporto prezzo qualità ok"

"Très bon accueil, chambre confortable."

"We had a very good stay at Hotel du Château in Carcassonne. A strong highlight was the team: everyone we met was warm, welcoming and helpful, and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location is another major plus, just a short walk from the Cité médiévale. The only minor disappointment was the Wi-Fi signal in our room wasn’t particularly strong. A kettle would have also been good rather than the coffee machine, for those of us who drink tea. Overall, a lovely stay, made...

"Excellent location and the views from our room was worth the price of admission. The room felt a bit tired and bedding could use an up grade. Lots of nightly turnover so the hotel always felt very busy."

"A great stopover on our journey through France! The hotel was conveniently located to visit the medieval city and accessible from main roads in and out of Carcassonne. It was clean and modern with really helpful, friendly staff. The pool was a real bonus on a very hot day and we loved the grapevines lining the path into reception! Not seen that before! Our room was clean and comfortable with air con."
