Iris and BJ were wonderful hosts. In advance of our visit we communicated about our diet (vegan family) and they were able to provide us a nice breakfast every morning. We visited the area during warm weather and the swimming pool ended up being a refreshing part of our stay during the late afternoon hours.

I absolutely loved my time staying here. BJ and Iris were such fantastic hosts and they helped me so much with planning my tips. Also the breakfast was fantastic 10 out of 10!

Un hébergement très pratique et fonctionnel, très agréable avec une entrée indépendante ce qui permet de ne pas déranger les hôtes. L accueil est chaleureux et les bons plans sont au rendez vous. La piscine est un plus tout comme les petit déjeuners copieux et fait maison! Idéalement placé à quelques minutes seulement de la cité de Carcassonne! Allez y les yeux fermés!

Lieu en dehors de Carcassonne pas loin de la citadelle. Hôtes très accueillant. Chambre très grande,confortable et d une propreté irréprochable. Endroit très calme. Bon petit dej. Petit plus un mini bar.

Nous avons passe un excellent moment . Les prestations comme le petit déjeuner , la vue incroyable sur les Pyrénées, la piscine ,sont excellentes même si il est dommage que la piscine soit seulement accessible de 16 a 19 h. Les hôtes sont pleins de gentillesse, avenants et très agréable. Très beau gîte.

Beautiful views, gracious hospitality!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this home! The Schreuders made us feel right at home. They had great advice on places to eat dinner and the surrounding area, and they made us a delicious breakfast. The view of the mountains from the back porch is STUNNING! Can't recommend this home enough!

Perfect place to visit Carcassone, amazing view

We loved our hosts BJ and Iris. It was so nice to receive sucha warm welcome and lots of information about the area. It was the perfect location to visit the city. Away from the craziness of the city but only a 5 min drive to the action.

Excellent séjour - Charmant accueil

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez M et Mme Schreuder. Leur accueil a été charmant dans leur maison très confortable. La localisation est parfaite pour visiter la Cité de Carcassonne tout en profitant de superbes vues sur la région et les Pyrénées. Pour les beaux jours une superbe terrasse avec piscine et une magnifique vue.

Es una excelente opción en todo sentido, esta fuera de la ciudad pero si rentas auto a 7 min de la ciudadela muy accesible. Si quieres descanso y atención este es el lugar

Wonder full

Our stay was nothing short than amazing. Barend and Iris were very welcoming indeed, and they helped us prepare for our visit. Before we arrived, I asked Barend for a place where I can taste local cheese and he gave me a very good suggestion, and while we are there my wife asked Iris for a farm where we can pick our own fruits, next morning Iris gave us a couple of suggestions that she googled during the night. The area is very quiet, and the view is amazing. It is only a 5 minutes drive from the old City, Barend gave us 3 detailed maps of the city, the old city and the area nearby. We got a room with a terrace in the garden, and we used to park our car inside next to the terrace. The breakfast was amazing, with a selection of cheese, local made Jams, croissant and french bread, scrambled eggs, orange juice and fruit water, Tea and coffee, fruits ( watermelon, melon, apples, grapes and pears) and finally Fruit yogurt.
