"Overall this is a nice place...very clean and in a convenient location. It had working Netflix and although it was small it had the essentials. The only thing I really didn't like was the price! My friend and I had to stay somewhere with a ZERO ANIMALS policy - not just "no pets but service dogs ok" but NO ANIMALS as she is terribly allergic to animal dander. So while I'm thankful that this place was available and has such a policy, the price seemed extremely high. I paid $240 a night (this was in 2026) and it's a *motel*. Just by comparison, I've stayed in *hotels* that are a LOT nicer, with a big lobby, heated pool, a front desk with staff at it on site, laundry facilities, gym and breakfast included...all under $150 a night. We're talking Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, etc. But because of the animal thing we had to either stay here or not visit the area at all. I hadn't realized it was a motel when booking, which is my bad; also I didn't know no staff would be on site. We didn't know how to get in the room but the good thing is the staff were readily available on the phone and emailed me the code for the room door. Also it was great to have two small, separate rooms each with its own bed so we each had more quiet and privacy at night. So overall it was fine, I'm just grumpy about the price."
Lake Village Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"This place is a gem! I am a solo traveler and enjoy quaint places vs boring hotel chains and this place was a score. It exceeded my expectations. Very clean Cozy and comfortable bed Sweet touches like real coffee mugs and packets of locally roasted coffee. What is also wonderful is that it’s a great bang for your buck. I walked to a quaint breakfast joint. Michael D’s , and got a real taste of the locals scene. Good people and good food."
Staybridge Suites Coeur d'Alene by IHG

"The Good: I stayed here to recover from a major surgery, and the room layout was absolutely perfect for my needs. The arrangement of the couch and the bed made it incredibly easy to rest and move around comfortably. Having a fully equipped kitchen was a lifesaver and very accommodating for my recovery. The structural setup of the suite truly made a challenging week much easier to manage. Areas for Improvement: The only downside was the room's cleanliness, which definitely needs an update. The flooring and the bathroom could have been a lot cleaner. It was clear that the room needed a more thorough vacuuming and wiping down of surfaces, especially when it comes to cleaning up after previous guests with pets. Overall, the excellent layout and great amenities make this a wonderful place to stay, but a deeper clean between guests would make it flawless."
