"Enjoyable stay in one of the pub's rooms at the back of the property. Nice big room with settee and two chairs, much better than having to sit on the bed. Tea and coffee, fridge and bottled water are nice extra touches provided for when you get back from a day exploring. Shower good, water hot plus soft towels ( much appreciated!) and very quiet location in a small village with a handy village store in walking distance. Great overall stay."

"I had an excellent experience here. I checked in during the early hours, and the porter was already waiting—very friendly and even offered me tea or coffee on arrival. The room was spotless, compact, and perfect for a one-night stay, with a lovely bath towel provided. There was no hairdryer in the room, but otherwise everything was just right. "Stayed here about 10 years ago and then sort of forgot its here, as it’s not really visible from main roads around the airport. However I will be back soon. Very modern, spacious bright hotel. Even if you are visiting Nottingham/Derby area worth thinking of staying here as Skylink buses only cost £3 each way, and you can be in respective city centres in next to no time. Also best breakfast I’ve ever had in a hotel in the U.K. "
