"Clean, well-decorated room and a nice breakfast experience. I found the room to be quiet, even though there was construction underway right across the street. Walking distance to downtown SLO. My only complaint is that it’s on a relatively busy corner and it can be a slight nuisance getting in and out of the parking lot. That was a minor issue though, and the experience overall was amazing!"

"The hotel provides great breakfast which is satified and healthy. I skiped it on the first day but immidaitely regret when I tried it on the 2nd day. Be aware the noisy at night, the hotel is near a bank parking lot which could be noisy at night. That's the only downside for me to stay here."

"I love Hotel SLO and have stayed there several times. It’s a beautiful property, in the middle of downtown, with ridiculously comfortable beds and an excellent staff. Unfortunately, the last couple times I’ve stayed there have been some maintenance issues in the rooms that have not been addressed. The door to our bathroom was very difficult to slide and all in all everything in the bathroom was loose, tired, and needed attention. It feels like Hotel SLO is riding on its laurels and not working...

"This motel was fine overall. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were like bricks. It felt clean and safe. I appreciated the parking. The room layout was a bit different but spacious. Like most places, there was shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and hand soap available. The location was the best part. About 6 minutes from Cal Poly and an easy walk to everything downtown. Definitely no frills but not bad either."

"The on-site laundry room was super helpful in the middle of a long vacation with a lot of our dirty clothes! The outdoor games and sitting area were so fun and relaxing and cute. Absolutely loved the decor of the whole place. They have a restaurant that had trivia going on while we were there and the staff was super nice!"

"During our check-in on June 4, the Front Desk Assistant was not as welcoming and enthusiastic. His customer service skills was poor and needs improvement. He didn't mention the amenities of the hotel like the gym and pool. It was a robot-like interaction with the Front Desk Assistant."
