"Honestly, I've had better stays at Motel 6. The staff were mostly indifferent about any of my requests. The room and facilities simply didn't measure up to the cost. The room was small - hardly room to open one suitcase, let alone two. No soap, or body wash dispenser in the shower. The only option was to drop the tiny hotel bar of soap on the floor, then hope you didn't kill yourself picking it up again. No Kleenex either. Yes, it's a small thing but at the price they charge... And the hotel is...

"Our host Francesco was wonderful. Showed us our room in a restored 1840s building in their vineyard, and explained local things to see and do. The spacious rooom had log ceilings and a four poster bed. Had a free breakfast at Francesco's mothers cafe just around the corner. Early in the season so the pool wasn't open yet. Fantastic place to stay. Make sure you contact Francesco by phone before you arrive so he can meet you at checkin. His # is in the check in instructions. "

"We stayed for a week and loved everything about this hotel. The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect and everyone was so friendly. We really enjoyed breakfast each morning on the terrace and we used the pool and spa every day. Very relaxing and walking distance to everything in Castellina. Their pasta restaurant located across the street is also very good."

"Godt, at man kunne grille og lave mad i eget køkken, inkl. køleskab, kogeplader, ovn. Dejligt med aircondition. Man kunne ikke se vejen, og blev ikke genereret af trafikken, der ikke var heftig. Fin swimmingpool. Værtsparret var til rådighed og meget serviceminded. Restauranten, der lå 75 m væk, er yderst anbefalelsesværdig: god mad og betjening. Castellini in Chianti kunne nås på 10 min. på cykel. Roligt om natten. "

"Loved absolutely everything. Property is beautiful. Food is incredible and reasonably priced. The wine is delicious. The service is excellent and the people are SO friendly. There is so much history to the location but it's also luxurious. The surrounding area has so much to do and see. Perfection, book it now"

They even upgraded us based on availability for our stay :) We loved the farm animals and playground for our baby and although we couldn’t use the pool bc of the weather, it was still such an enjoyable stay with stunning views. The food was also very good. We walked to the town of Greve, which was very nice and convenient. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to return one day!"

"This was a wonderful B&B. The room was clean and well appointed. He even had a small kitchenette. The hostess was very helpful and kind. She served us breakfast to order and it was delicious. Such a wonderful garden in which to eat breakfast. The property was located near the edge of town and there were some wonderful walking options to view the beautiful Tuscan countryside"
