The Loop Inn cares about their guests and are very helpful with practically everything; change for laundry and calling you a cab, for example. They are even willing to assist with information for people who don't speak Spanish. If another guest isn't abiding by the rules and is inconsiderate, they will approach them so you don't have to. In essence, they make life easier at the Hostel. I cannot praise them enough. The location is convenient as there are two grocery stores within walking distance it's a quick walk to the city center. There are also bus stops right down the street. I highly recommend.

The staff is extremely professional, helpful and fair. If an issue arises, they will investigate instead of jumping to conclusions. They know hospitality. The rooms are cleaned everyday and smell nice, as is the kitchen. There's a game room, a solarium and an area on the rooftop, so plenty of ways to gain solitude if you so desire. I definitely recommend it!

Excelente relación calidad y precio, el lugar está limpio y bien equipado, el personal en todo momento fue muy amable. Nosotros estuvimos una noche y rentamos un cuarto con baño propio, el cuarto estuvo excelente, muy limpio y cómodo. En definitiva no es una estancia de lujo pero a nosotros nos pareció lindo, moderno y muy bien cuidado. Llevábamos carro y fue fácil encontrar dónde estacionar detrás del hotel y todos los sitios turísticos se encontraban cercanos, máximo unos 15-20 minutos caminando, los más cercanos a 5 minutos que fue el museo de las murallas púnicas. Sin duda lo recomendamos y volveríamos a quedarnos ahí.

Ideally located right in the city centre, no more than ten minutes’ walk to the main sites. Peaceful hotel, clean and quiet. My single room had a lovely little balcony and a beautiful view of the sea

Ok for the price, would book again. Good walking distance to center, car can be left in the street. Only annoying thing was really loud noise in the room over mine until midnight, don‘t know what happend there.

Great affordable spot to stay over in Cartagena.
This place is really lovely. The staff are helpful and the space is fun and clean. The beds aren't super comfortable, but we slept okay.

Fui con mi hija de dos años. Todo muy bien, las instalaciones, el personal, la habitación. He visto comentarios sobre las almohadas y es cierto, eran súper cómodas. La cama igual, la terraza de arriba con tumbonas están genial de noche, tiene vistas a la ciudad. La habitación con un pequeño balcón me gustó. Está limpio, y tienen hidrogel para las manos puesto en varias zonas y desinfectante para que lo eches después de usar el comedor, que tiene de todo: sartenes, ollas, cubiertos, platos, vasos, microondas, tostador para el pan, placa vitrocerámica, nevera de uso común. Es una opción barata el comprar comida, hay cerca un lidl y tiendas de alimentación y cocinar en el hostel. Para mi mejor que un hotel. El loopInn está muy céntrico, hay de todo, esta en el casco histórico que tiene mucho encanto y hay un bus a 5 minutos que va a la playa Cala cñCortina por 1,20€ jajja y lo coges de vuelta igual y hay bastante horario: 10:30, 12, 13 y algo 16 y algo... Y para volver igual. Es una cala muy bonita, pequeña, rodeada de montañita. A mi me resultó todo ideal: instalaciones, limpieza, dormí muy bien, y la ubicación, el personal. No tengo quejas, ah y los toboganes a mi hija le daba miedo bajar, es muy pequeña, pero otros niños que había bajaban y eran felices, tienen un tamaño grande para que bajen adultos y también se tiraron jajjaja.

Bright, modern, bargain
We booked this hostel as part of our first, tentative excursion beyond the boundaries of our home in Valencia region after being sealed in by Covid for many months. It’s a bit of a trudge uphill or via some stairs to reach the hostel, but conveniently close to both the railway and bus stations. We chose a private room - very bright, modern and, most importantly very clean! Staff were very welcoming. The room was stuffy when we arrived but the air-con soon kicked in. Bed was smaller than we’d have liked, but comfortable nonetheless. Probably our only criticism would be that the WiFi, although free, doesn’t work very well. The hostel and surrounding areas seem very quiet - but that may not be typical as there are obviously few tourists around at the moment (May 2021). Overall a clean, great value base for exploring Cartagena.
