"We arrived early, hours before check-in, but the hotel were expecting us and made us feel very welcome, offering us a space to freshen up in before we ventured out to make the most of our one full day in Cape Town. Owner Michel was very friendly and helpful; he organised an airport transfer for us and recommended a wonderful restaurant within walking distance for dinner (Silk) and also which beach to visit (Clifton Fourth) the next morning before our afternoon flight to Port Elizabeth. "Wonderful staff"

"Staff were excellent"

"I loved staying there. My room had everything I needed, including a washing machine, which was a lifesaver since I’d just come from another trip. The location was great with tons of places to eat and Sea Point promenade nearby. The staff were so sweet, and I felt totally safe the whole time as a female traveling solo."

"We had a great stay. The hotel is clean, quite and comfortable. The location is great as it is close to the attractions and located on a quite, low trafficked street. The breakfast and service were AMAZING. We enjoyed our stay and would 100% stay there again."

"It was all fabulous and the staff in particular were extremely helpful and friendly"

"Lovely stay, great hotel and fantastic location"

"Good location, great food and very helpful staff"

Room service was also excellent BUT the noise from the Irish pub over the road was awful and completely disrupted our sleep on the 2nd night which was a Friday night, and partially disrupted it on the Saturday night. Breakfast at the Dock House Boutique hotel was also really uninspiring - small room felt claustrophobic and the food...
