Fabulous hotel, quiet but super close to the hustle and bustle of V&A. Very safe and fabulous views of the mountain from the room and exceptional breakfast overlooking the mountain too.
We had a great 5 nite stay in the Manor House. It is a lovely property with very friendly and helpful staff. The property is close to all the action of the V&A Waterfront. Dining in the hotel was very good and there are lots of local restaurants a short walk away. Our room on the 2nd floor manor house had a beautiful view of the waterfront and Table Mountain.
Excellent location, great views of Table Mountain. Cannot fault. Only negative was an expectation of a tip for the breakfast that was included in the hotel rate !
We stayed at The Manor House for our last night in So. Africa. It was the perfect place to unwind after touring for three weeks. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We give it our very highest rating.
Lovely suites all (I think) with Table Mountain views. A short walk on the flat to facilities at the main Queen Victoria hotel and its Dock House sister property. A short gentle hill walk to & from the Waterfront, but separated from its bustle. Only small drawbacks: no lift to the upper two suites; and a bit of noise outside overnight from a generator or aircon plant or something.
We had a wonderful room in the Manor House which is just set aside from the main Queen Victoria hotel. It was enormous and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is a very short walk into the centre of the Waterfront development. This is a major destination in Cape Town full of bars restaurants and shops. It is not quaint little streets or anything like that bit it is a majorly successful development attracting thousands of visitors each day. The hotel is far enough away to feel you have got away from the crowds but close enough to feel you are only a few minutes walk away. Pick up points for various tours are nearby.
Amazing and beautiful hotel.

Everything was perfect. Staff, food, linens, location were amazing. Only problem? Mold on the wall between the toilet and shower. Pretty gross. Fix that problem and I would give them 10 out of 10
We stayed at the Manor House. Every one of the the staff treated us like royalty. Excellent buffet breakfast plus soft drinks and snacks through out the day.
Great little hotel perfectly located in the heart of the pier action. Four rooms in the building perfect for a romantic get away specially in covid times. Rooms was very comfortable and bathroom area is equally comfortable. Breakfast was included and well worth your money. Highly recommended property
We stayed in a Junior Mountain-Facing suite at the Manor House (room 1401). The view of Table Mountain was exquisite and the room was comfortably large and well appointed. The bathroom is luxurious, with Victorian bath, large shower, His and Hers basins, towel warming rack and separate, closed off water closet area. The bedroom has a beautiful mountain view, and the bathroom looks onto the car park area. On arrival, I asked for a suite on the 1st floor (the Manor has has a ground and first floor), but unfortunately all rooms were occupied. Try get a room on the first floor if you can. My brother stayed in the Queen Victoria Hotel onto which the Manor House is attached. His room was R2000 cheaper than ours per night, and he said he would have happily paid the extra R2000 for the additional space afforded by the Junior Suite. Something to consider if you are wondering. Overall I loved the hotel. It has that distinctly boutique feel with service to match. I don't think it's a hotel suited to small children though, simply because it's quiet and subdued with a serene atmosphere, so I am glad the kids weren't with us this time. The hotel is within a short walking distance to the V&A Waterfront shopping complex and precinct. Very central. It's in a busy location, but the rooms were sufficiently sound-proofed, & the noise never bothered me, I am only sorry I didn't have the opportunity to use the Spa services - our visit was way too rushed.

Fue un desastre, Hoteles.com cancelo la segunda parte de mi reserva y estoy muy molesto
Very comfortable room in a nice waterfront location. The staff was great and the service exceptional. We were in Cape Town for four nights and we stayed at the Manor House the first night, leaving open where we would stay on our last night. We liked it so much that we decided to come back as it felt like home. Only complaint was limited hot water as it seems like the 4 rooms in the Manor House share the same small boiler.
