"The hotel is ideally located, in easy reach of the city centre, the Promenade des Anglais and the old city. It was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. We went out for breakfast but the hotel offering looked perfectly adequate. The room was small, as was the bathroom but the bed was very comfortable and we were not troubled by noise. The lift is up a few steps, we had large cases, which had to be carried up the steps. There is only one customer lift, when we left early in the morning, it was being used for linen, which made getting the lift difficult, however Reception staff did help once they were aware of the situation."

"Lovely old building but the suite we had lacked character despite the fantastic views of the sea and promenade. There were only white walls and some ‘art’ would have enhanced the whole character of the suite. A beautiful bathroom was ruined by the narrow toilet compartment!! Staff were wonderful."

"Property was beautiful but just too far from Nice downtown… staff was ok, area immediately walkable in back of the hotel seemed sketch. The promenade out front was better but again, 3-4 miles east of where you want to be."
