"No underground Parking it was full so had to park behind hotel in a parkaid . Was not reapay enough for a two night stay had to pay on top of that to park. And no access from the parked had to walk around the block to main entrance. "

"I would like to say that my Husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Element Hotel downtown Calgary! The staff were amazing to say the least! The rooms are immaculate, comfortable and there was everything we needed and more in our room. And the bathroom was beautiful, very clean and roomy. I am an elderly lady who uses a walker to get around and I had not one problem with our room. Excellent lay out And also the staff in the Restaurant on the 12th floor were a wonderful a great crowd so friendly. Great atmosphere! Food was delicious and the views were amazing! "Small room overall. Shower wand was broken. The hallway was incredibly hot and had an unpleasant odor. They added a previously undisclosed $220.00 fee for the stay which was a surprise on arrival and was over and above the pre-paid 2 night stay for $433.98. All-in all, not worth the stay and will look elsewhere in the future."

"Disappointing stay at Sandman Hotel. Requested a lower floor multiple times due to my child’s difficulty with elevators—no response and was told it wasn’t possible. We were placed on the 12th floor and only moved to the 5th after insisting at check-in. Hotel advertises being family-friendly but showed little understanding for sensory needs. We even had to clean our own room after requesting housekeeping. Raised concerns at check-out, but nothing was done. Customer service needs serious improvement."
